Users and roles

What it does​

Manages operators and their permissions in Evercom. Roles control how much access each teammate has: owner, admin, and operator. Owners have the broadest control, admins manage most workspace settings, and operators work with conversations and assigned support tools. Some capabilities, such as broadcast management, can be granted separately.

When to use it​

Use this when inviting teammates, changing roles, or granting access to specific modules.

How it works​

Each user is assigned one of three roles:

  • owner — the broadest control over the workspace.
  • admin — manages most workspace settings.
  • operator — works with conversations and assigned support tools.

Capabilities that fall outside a role, such as broadcast management, can be granted separately.

Where to configure it​

Configure in Settings → Users and Settings → Invitations.
