Broadcasts

What it does​

Broadcasts send proactive announcements through the widget as banners or chat messages.

When to use it​

Use Broadcasts for:

  • Product updates
  • Planned maintenance
  • Promotions
  • Onboarding prompts
  • Time-sensitive notices

How it works​

A broadcast can be a banner or a chat message. Each broadcast has an audience, a display frequency, a status, and analytics. Active broadcasts are loaded by the widget when it loads and can also be pushed in realtime.

Owners and admins can grant broadcast permissions to specific users.
